This site is a tribute to Teresa Ash, who was born on November 16, 1970.
Teresa was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus in August 2021. The cancer had already spread so she had two courses of chemotherapy in an attempt to contain it.
Sadly the cancer was very aggressive and Teresa lost her fight on 7th January 2022.
At the end of her life, Teresa was under the care of The Greenwich and Bexley Hospice. They did an amazing job in looking after her and made her final moments pain free and peaceful.
Rather than have flowers at her funeral, it was Teresa’s wish for her loved ones to make donations to this charity in her memory.
She is much loved and will always be remembered.
A year ago today was the last time I saw you. I remember it as if it was yesterday. You got to have your shower and I brushed and dried your hair for you. I remember thinking how soft it felt. I didn’t know it would be the last time I saw you but I had a feeling. We didn’t really do hugs, so I remember giving you a fist bump goodbye and making you laugh. We had spent the day going over all the plans and your final wishes. You even played me a song you liked and I felt so sad thinking the next time I hear this it will be at your funeral. You were the bravest I’ve ever know and we all miss you loads. You’ll always be remembered xxx
I’m memory of a truly beautiful and very special lady 💛
Much love to all your loved ones. You were a very brave lady xxx
